This sweet little house has an open floor plan with a sleeping loft and beautiful views looking southwest over Cayuga Lake. Decks on two sides of the house lead to a “flight” of four decks below the house. The kitchen has a small refrigerator, induction burners, small oven, microwave, toaster, blender, coffee maker, and lots of cooking utensils and dishware. The bathroom has a claw-foot tub. On the decks, a gas grill and plenty of chairs and picnic tables for relaxing and entertaining.
Ideal for two, but can sleep four to six: queen mattress in loft, fold-out sofa bed, couch, and camping out in tents on the decks under large shade trees or on the double mattress in the boat house.
Not handicapped accessible: 28 gentle stone steps from the road down to the house, 3 to 6 steps between the decks, steep stairs down to the dock, boat house, and pebble beach, and in the house, a library ladder up to the sleeping loft.
Wifi. No smoking or incense. Pets considered.

Summary: Had a great stay. Definitely as advertised. Very clean and well taken care of. Had a great time. We were not able to enjoy the boat house and decks as much as we would have liked to due to the weather and level of the lake but can't control mother nature! Thanks so much would stay again if we were in the area!

Summary: Second year visiting this lovely timber frame cabin. We had Nancy's cell number to ask questions. We were hiking first two days to see waterfalls and on last day weather was windy and cool, so not conducive to kayaking, so we were able to scavenge the beach for "lake" glass and heart-shaped stones. Nancy said we could stay past the check-out time and we took her up on that offer, leaving late afternoon. We will definitely be back next year.

Summary: Loved this adorable cabin. It was the perfect cozy long weekend. There were plenty of utensils to cook with, cozy spots to read and journal, a comfy bed and beautiful outdoor space. I certainly enjoyed the claw foot bathtub. Nancy was so wonderful! She let me know when the cabin was ready for me and even let me stay a bit longer as a treat. What a special trip!

Summary: This was our second time staying in this beautiful cabin. It's rustic and special, offering beautiful views and the tranquility of lakeside life. Short drives to Ithaca for groceries, sleepy mornings on the porch with coffee, and winery outings. We always want to come back!
